EditorialVine: Where's the news, guys?

I discovered the Vine about a year ago. I loved it. Where else can the news consuming public determine what qualifies as news instead of having the media controllers do it? It has been among my top sources of news because of it's breadth and stimulating debate-filled threads.

- Imagine the soldiers getting it wrong. They are trained to kill, expected to kill, and honored for killing. But it should have been clear that they arent allowed to talk about killing or try to make light of the stressful situations that being a soldier in wartime puts them in.

- These people have successfully aroused my ire periodically over the last few years. They spread hate and bigotry at funerals of servicemen, hate-crime victims, and ordinary people.

- I cant understand why people are still quibbling over the unprovable. This man is theorizing, speculating, and guessing. He's not a climatologist, and even among their ranks their is a small dissenting community who are not convinced by the evidence.

- Also, has anyone noticed that the most important thing in Cincinnati's local news is always sports? Sports arent news, they're what we use to distract ourselves from the real world.

- I beleive that good actions can help us to overcome the damage done by bad actions. But i know 'good' as a adjective (good move, good call, good soup, good progress) and not a noun, as you use it. I have never seen a 'good' that stood alone.

- Evil Incarnate by David Frankfurter is an excellent book on this topic. It qualifies as religious studies (anthropology, behavior, history, etc) not theology (philosophy, introspection, and inspiration).

- so once we've supressed our natural inclination to be gay we then have to invent, practice, and perfect an unnatural inclination to be straight?
